Privacy

Cadence is a personal project that turns your Peloton workout export into a private dashboard. We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to do that, and we never sell or share it.

What we store

Account details— sign-in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. That means your email address, name (if you provide it) and a Clerk account ID. See Clerk's own privacy policy.

Your workouts — when you upload a Peloton CSV, we parse it and store the resulting workout records (date, class title, instructor, duration, output, distance, calories, heart rate), linked to your account. The raw CSV file itself is not kept — only the parsed records — and its contents are never logged.

How it's used

Your data is used for one thing: building your own dashboard. No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics on your fitness data.

Your control

You can re-upload at any time to replace your data, and the “Delete my data” button on the Sessions page removes all of your stored workouts immediately. Deleting your account with Clerk removes your account details.

Security

Data is stored in a private, access-controlled database and tied to your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we use standard safeguards and never expose your data to other users.

Terms of use

Cadence is provided as-is, with no warranty, for personal, non-commercial use. Only upload data you have the right to. Please don't attempt to disrupt, attack or abuse the service. We may change or discontinue it at any time, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Not affiliated with Peloton

Cadence is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Peloton Interactive, Inc. “Peloton” is used only to describe the source of the data you choose to upload.
